French cookery class at Blackfriars

France remains home to one of the world’s greatest classic cuisines with humble dishes such as French onion soup, cassoulet, coq au vin, confit duck and beef bourguignon rooted in their culinary history. Food really is a way of life in France so come and ensconce yourself in an evening of gallic fancy, enjoy a few of our own interpretations of some French classics, and see what all the fuss is all about.

For home cooks who want to explore something new. Our cookery classes are relaxed, informative and fun and are specially designed by our teaching chefs to give you skills and confidence in the kitchen.

So enjoy an alternative night out preparing a delicious, seasonal selection of dishes which you can eat during strategic breaks or simply take home to enjoy in front of the T.V.! All of our weeknight cookery club sessions are suitable for beginner cooks and are led by our friendly chef tutors.

  • Aprons can be borrowed though please arrive in comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy. And bring your enthusiasm!
