Step into the atmospheric, historic surroundings of the Marley Hill Engine Shed at Tanfield Railway and experience the ancient art of blacksmithing.

This brand-new experience offers you a rare chance to slow down, connect with a traditional heritage craft, and create something truly meaningful with your own two hands. Under the watchful eye and expert guidance of a skilled blacksmith, you will work directly at the engine shed forge to heat, shape, and finish your very own unique piece to take home at the end of the session.

Please note: This is a collaborative group experience, meaning you will be sharing the forge and learning alongside other experience holders.
