About: Don't miss your chance to take part in a guided canoe tour with an emphasis on reflection and nature connection.

Join Pete, who will be your instructor, to paddle canoes on an idyllic part of the River Tyne. We will begin underneath the arches of Hexham Bridge, built in 1793, and head upstream on flat water. Along the way there's the chance to spot wildlife such as oyster catchers, egrets, kingfishers, grey herons, jumping salmon, and if you're lucky, otters.

The boats are open canadian canoes which seat 3 people. They are stable and ideal for a relaxed paddle. Pete will give you full instruction and tips as we go along.
