Join us on this half-day (approx 4.5 hours) tour and walk along an iconic central section of Hadrian's Wall, followed by visiting Vindolanda, one of the best preserved Roman Forts in Britain. The Roman museum and archaelogical sites you will visit are unique to Northumberland. Your guide, dressed as a Roman soldier or Celtic warrior will provide an in-depth interpretation of this era and explain the history of each site and the surrounding area. Enjoy taking in the stunning vistas of Northumberland, the North Pennines and Hadrian's Wall and soak up the atmosphere. This tour will start at Cawfields.
