Before the advent of cheap flights and package holidays, the most we knew about Greece was its ancient origins, empire and gods. However, after a few decades of Greek tavernas and sunshine, we’ve all grown to love Baklava, Tzatziki and Kleftiko. Not sure about retsina? We’ll have a good go at making the rest!
EXPECT RECIPES SUCH AS:
+ Traditional Greek Favourites: Seasonal Stifado Stew/Lamb Kleftiko/Chicken or Vegetable Souvlaki, Lemon Roast Potatoes with Honey & Feta
+ Holiday Favourites: Sesame Pitta, Tzatziki, Santorini-Style Tomato Fritters, Horiatiki (Traditional Greek Salad)

Blackfriars lively morning cookery sessions give you a taste of your chosen subject under the tutelage of experienced cookery school teachers. The sessions are suitable for beginner cooks and are led by friendly chef tutors. The class has been designed to increase your home cooking skills, experience and confidence.

WHAT TO BRING: Aprons can be borrowed though please arrive in comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy. And bring your enthusiasm!
